Bug Description

I have set a description in the above field but it is not pulling through to openhublist. What is pulling through as the description on openhublist is the topic.

Afaik shouldn't the topic appear as an extension of the name field on the hublist and the description of the hub specified in the hubsoft fill the description field not the topic.

I guess this may be a openhublist problem not a ADCH++ problem, let me know.

Yep and once it gets on hublist it should look like this

Hubname - Topic | Description | number of users | address | country | amount shared

we were having a chat in dev, and although what I have said above is truthful it is not necessarily the correct thing to have. This is up for discussion (see sulan, QS discussion)

At least what Toast says is certainly correct though.

the notion of "topic" is nowhere defined in the ADC spec, so i made up my own definition of it which was "append it to the description".
now it will replace the current description for normal users, but not for hub-lists that support PING.
note that i don't think such a variable field should be reported to the hub-list, especially not if hacked in the hub name, which is generally quite immutable.
