Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Even if I set ubuntuone-client to connect never, I get on each login a Firefox instance thrown at me with that authenticate dialog.

Ubuntu One should be made much less intrusive. Let annoying auto-popups stay in the Windows realm.

I'm also experiencing this, might be connect to the server problems mentioned in bug #450582

How could this be a server problem if the client should not even try to connect?

Unduplicating, because the duplicate bug is a server problem.

This problem however, cannot be caused by the server because the client is not allowed to connect the server in the first place. I will update the description to make this clearer.

summary: - throws 'Authenticate to Ubuntu One' web-dialog at me on each login
+ connects to server even if autoconnect is set to 'never'

Sorry. I thought the bug was about the fact that it keeps asking to reauthorize. Thanks for clarifying.
