nVidia g80 [quadro FX4600] xplash and wine video flicker for OS driver

Bug Description

Ubuntu karmic beta. On start up of a live cd the x-splash had noticeable amounts of video flicker on the nVidia g80 quadro fx4600 video card. This ficker also apears when running the development wine. It is currently hooked up to two acer monitors.
