Pidgin locks up during minimize

Bug Description

Karmic Koala 9.10
When minimizing pidgin I expected it to fade out.
Instead Pidgin had a huge delay sometimes froze.

Thank you for reporting this bug and help to make Ubuntu better. I'm not sure, but this sounds like a compiz issue.
