Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I dont know if this has to do with pulse audio or not

Everything sounds weird... It has happened several times during the karmic testing stage... I usually reboot the system 3 or 4 times and remove ~/.pulse and after that, the sound usually work fine

Also messing with sound properties i get it to work...

This time it didn't work out that well...

I dont know what else you might need. Ask me anything, and ill try to provide it

Ok, after 6 reboots, the sound is back... I tried multiple things, i dont know what fix it

I removed ~/.pulse* and .gconf and other buch of configurations back... oh, and I had to change in sound properties to "Analog Stereo duplex" I did this before several times and it didnt work :)

Any further test or anything that you want me to run to fix this, I can do it... Im having sound issues all the time ;)

I didn't want to reboot afraid that i was going to lose the sound again...

but after a few days i lost sound in firefox... (it still worked on konkeror) and after a few days more I lost sound in vlc too (it become choppy). So I updated again with sudo apt-get update and then upgrade...

After that upgrade no sound at all... i deleted .pulse again, and this is my 4 reboot... after third reboot my sound become like the example noisy sound I attached... then I rebooted again and no sound at all

same ubuntu and kubuntu, btw
