Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

Setting keyboard shortcuts with gnome-keybinding-properties works only for the current session. When I reboot, I can not use them anymore: in gnome-keybinding-properties they're set as "Disabled". However, rebinding allows me to use them until next reboot.

Try this:
Set [Visual Effects] in System->Appearance to [None], now set the keyboard shortcuts and reboot.

Are the shortcuts still working after the reboot?

This does not seem to me a compiz-related issue, as keybord shorcuts are completely unset after reboot; they work, even with compiz, but oblidge me to re-enter them every time I reboot. If compiz was the problem, keyboard shortcuts won't work at all...
