Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Evolution junk icons are very confusing. If you look at these ("mail_junk_icons_current.png"), can you understand what they mean? Furthermore the icon with a red cross stands for "mark as not junk" (you should use it for good e-mails), but the first impression is exactly the opposite...

Please replace it with more understandable icons, something like "mail_junk_icons_proposal.png".

Ubuntu Karmic Alpha6 is affected. Evolution version is 2.27.92-0ubuntu4.

All Ubuntu users using Evolution are affected, it's easy to fix - a real PAPER CUT :)

Matthew Barnes (Evolution developer) has responded: "We don't draw the icons, we just use the
standard icon theme names. Talk to the gnome-icon-theme folks if you want the
artwork changed, or try a different icon theme -- one that overrides the junk
icons."

Not sure if any one has a good metaphor for those icons.

Probably stop using icons for those? ;-)

Since Evolution is no longer a part of the default installation, this bug is no longer a paprcut.

The paper cut task on this was originally closed because Evolution is no longer a part of the default Ubuntu Desktop installation.
