No preview on "Import from Open Clip Art Library" dialog

Bug Description

How to reproduce"

1) File>Import from Open Clip Art Library
2) Search for example for "cat"
3) Select one of the results
4) Have a look at a preview area in the dialog. Thumbnails are not visible.

Inkscape r22232 on Ubuntu 9.04.

Confirmed on Ubuntu 9.04, Inkscape rev. 22232.
Same problem when previewing bitmaps with File>Open or File>Import.

Works well with rev. 22227, NOT with rev. 22228.
The same change affects Bug #429610.

How do I import OCAL images in v0.47? I cannot find the option in the menu, although I'm sure I've used it before. But maybe that was at work, while running Win XP. Is this platform dependent? Should I enable something somewhere in the prefs or install some extension?.

BTW, this bug was caused by the patch attached to bug 168384. This patch has been reverted though, so everything should be working properly again.
