Bug Description

Binary package hint: netbook-launcher

Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10

netbook-launcher:
  Installed: 2.1.8-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.1.8-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.1.8-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I'm following karmic on a eeepc netbook. I update/grade. Via Admin, Users I add a new user(administrator).
I log in to this user. New, nice clean UNR. I Switch-Desktop-mode to classic.
Panels are added but launcher is still visible - then crash.

Thanks for the great job. Have fun.

Looks like it might be similar to bug #421633. Roman, could you please attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from the system that had this problem? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but karmic is so dynamic now that my system has long since changed. If I come across new errors - you'll be the first to know!

Immediately switched to Classic Desktop causing this dump
Assuming it's more-or-less the same as original report, so uploading Xorg logfile

Other random crashes can occur that lockup and require full reinstallation when running from SDHC card. Can't capture very easily.
