remove eclipse from archive (no maintainer, no progress)

eclipse is a pretty major package, and I'm sort of reluctant to remove it. Is there nothing else we can do about this?

this is not productive. removing the old binaries for those architectures where the new version does fail does fix you issue as well.

Wouldn't recompiling against the latest version of the xulrunner dev package and tweaking any explicit dependencies on 1.8 be sufficient?

The fix for bug #352968 was already staged in Debian unstable, and I've just synced this over; so it seems to me that the main reason for removing the package is now resolved?

If you disagree, feel free to reopen the bug, but I generally agree with Colin that this is a major package we shouldn't remove if there are any alternatives.
