bluemouse and phone tooth refuses to pair with mouse and phone despite having done so up to one week ago. I have now removed all bluetooth and bluez packages. HELP

Bug Description

ubuntu 9.04

mogo x 54 mouse

up to about 1 week ago paired perfectly - now nothing. I have tried updating bluez and various other stuff. useless. I have now removed all bluetooth and bluez applications and want to start again. please give me simple advice on how to get my mouse working again and get a bluetooth icon in my desktop panel.

Same issue in 9.10. Had it paired with cell, but can't even browse for a device now. Cell is a Samsung A640 and bluetooth device is a D-Link 122.
