Impossible to start Empathy.
Latest 9.10 alpha here; empathy Installed: 2.27.91.1-2ubuntu2
I hope more info is in apport script..

After changing "default" priority of jabber account to 10 or 15, empathy crashes with that bug. (purged, removed, reinstalled, worked, bug happened again)

the stacktrace lacks debug symbols, could you get a new one after installing those or use apport to send the crash

Same problem here. I could start Empathy once and afterwards not anymore. I tried to remove and reinstall empathy but that didn't work either. I'm going back to Pidgin.

Hello all.

I am running Ubuntu server 9.10 with xorg+icewm. I have installed empathy. When i run it:
empathy&

it just crash: Segmentation fault.!
ulimit -c 10000

empathy
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

And here is core. Hope it help and i hope you will fix it :)
