Bug Description
Binary package hint: libsox-fmt-base
When playing the attached wav file (generated with a Creative Rhomba PA50), sox segfaults. The desktop (Nautilus?) preview feature plays this file fine.
The desired behavior would be to play the file, possibly with a warning if it's badly formatted.
This is on up-to-date jaunty.
libsox-fmt-base:
Installed: 14.2.0-1
Candidate: 14.2.0-1

Playing the file in SoX 14.4.1 works. Possibly this was the same problem as https:/ /sourceforge. net/tracker/ ?func=detail& aid=2404566& group_id= 10706&atid= 110706, which has been fixed in 14.3.0.
