Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

When I upgraded to Karmic, I found that my screensaver had been switched off.

I had been using the f-spot pictures screensaver, which doesn't seem to be available in its previous form. When I went to the screensaver settings dialog, no screensaver was selected. When I select the Pictures screensaver, it uses all my pictures, rather than the tagged set I was using before.

For me, after upgrade to Karmic, F-Spot screensaver is listed among other screensavers, but does not work. It only shows black screen in the "View" window, and if this screensaver is selected, system never goes to screensaver mode.

Sebastien, would you please be so kind as to point out, which version of f-spot fixes the bug in Karmic? As far as I can see, the current version for Karmic (0.6.1.2-1 according to http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/f-spot) doesn't fix this issue.

As far as I can tell, bug's been fixed since Beta, and it all still works allright for me now in the release. As for my machine, the bug can be closed.
