Bug Description
Since merging the plugins branch, there's no "new task" icon anymore in my gtg.
Also, the toolbar always display the text besides icons, even if the gtk setting is not that one. ( variation of bug #406420 )

The problem was, while using glade interface, the icon value was reseted.
If I use glade2 it resets the value and when I save the file the value is completely removed. My solution is to use galde3.
I'm fixing the glade file now.
