Compiz Effect on closing window does not work.

Bug Description

Hello, the problem that I found is that when I installed compiz and placed the windows to be burned when closed, it all worked fine until I wrote at the terminal "compiz --replace", then, this effect was no longer available. It was not even shown at the selection area.

apport-collect 397511

This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Thanks in advance!

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
