Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with kernel 2.6.28-13-generic

I open a PDF , the Ubuntu pocket guide v1.1 and the easiest guide of linux , the letters doesn't show, they are dots or the pages are white. The images are ok.

I tried to take a screenshot but , it doesn't work.

the file renders fine here, on Jaunty.
why can you not take a screenshot?
also, try opening evince from a terminal, then open the file in question, and give us here any error messages you may receive...

It works here well on karmic. No problems displaying any characters (but the kerning and spacing is mightly ugly for a person used to the high quality of TeX).

We are closing this bug report because it lacks the information we need to investigate the problem. Please reopen it if you encounter that this issue is still occurring in Ubuntu Lucid. Additionally, I tried to reproduce this issue in latest release included in Lucid and works fine here. Thanks again!
