Nautilus: rotate an image

Bug Description

Hello,

I find something sad in Nautilus: when you look at the images or photos with "Eye of GNOME" and you want to rotate them right, it works. But if you close the window and re-opens photos, the modification is not saved and there is no warning to do it, so the image is still not right.

It is a defect compared to Windows Explorer behaviour that saves just clicking on the icon of rotation.

A workaround In Nautilus is to do :
- Image → Rotate menu hourly / counterclockwise
- File → Save

Thanks for this bug report! I think it affects Eye-of-Gnome, and not Nautilus.
It's an issue that used to bother me as well, but I started working around it and now I couldn't even see it anymore!
Also, it can be easily fixed (I think of a dialog when closing the EoG window).

This is definitely a paper cut!

whooops, this bug is a duplicate of bug #25619. I'm adding it to the "One Hundred Paper Cuts" project as well.
