Running a fresh install of Breezy. Plugging in a Logitech Dual Action joypad produces the following output in dmesg:

Eventually the system will freeze.
If the joypad is plugged in during boot, a very long pause will happen during the splash screen at "Loading modules". Eventually I am dumped back to the console, where the usb_submit_
This behaviour is not observed on another system that I have (Mandriva SE 2006, 2.6.12-17mdksmp).
Plugging in other USB joypads that I have access to (e.g. Xbox 360 controller, Gravis GamePad Pro) does not produce this "failed" message.
