boinc-manager: project list is much too small

Bug Description

Right after starting BOINC Manager for the first time the displayed project list widget is much too small, such that one cannot read the list items. See the screenshot attached.

Ubuntu 9.10 amd64, last update taken today.

Sorry, it's Ubuntu 9.04 amd64 of course. CPU: AMD Athlon X2 6000+. Graphics card: GeForce 7600 GS. Main memory: 2 GB. Mainboard chip: nForce 560 SL.

I'm marking it as duplicate of bug 339822, which includes a workaround IIRC.
