Bug Description

I get this message on every gnome login from hp-systray, anyway, if I manually run it after that, hp-systray works ok:
No system tray detected on this system.
Unable to start, exiting.

I am using hplip-3.9.2 under gentoo, but seems that this also affects to some ubuntu users:

Thanks a lot

Duplicate status is wrong, because this bug is opened for hplip upstream instead of ubuntu

Also, still valid with 3.9.8, why hp-systray checks for available systray at all? It also causes to always get this error message when a user doesn't have a systray added to its panel, not behaving like all the others systrays, that simply exit silently
