X/dri hangs almost immediatly after boot

Bug Description

An X61 laptop is hanging almost immediatly after startup. The screen is complety frozen we are unable to tell if the machine is on the network at this time.

These problem seem to have started in Ubuntu-2.6.28-11.40. Looking at the changes which went into this release it appears that this was likely related to the new MCHBAR tiling change which went into that release. Reverting this change only seemed to fix the issue for this user.

For now we are reverting the MCHBAR fix inthe main tree.
