Bug Description

Hi,

I'm using gtg 0.1.1 and noticed the new Note menu. In many specific programs (note taking apps, for example) specific menus like this, things for which the app was made, are merged with the File menu. Take a look at tomboy, for example. You create new notes and notebooks right from there.

I think merging them would be a good idea.

Notes are an experimental features. I wonder how you could have access, was it there by default? It's normally hidden.

Thank for your adivice though, I think you are rigth on this. However, as we still don't know what form this feature could adopt in the future, I'm closing this bug since it will be relevant only if the feature becomes public.

Hi Bertrand,

I used the wrong word for some reason, I was talking about tasks, not notes, so this request's name should be "merge file and TASK menu".

I was probably thinking about the tomboy example when I wrote it, sorry.

I agree. We don't have a need for a File menu, we have no files.
