Bug Description

Binary package hint: kwin

Kubuntu doesn't remember the size and position of the windows.

1. Open Firefox, maximize it, and close it.
2. Open Firefox. It isn't maximized.

Sorry, Dolphin is a bad example. Try it with Firefox, for example.

That would pretty much be a Firefox issue, but for what its worth it works fine here.

Yes, in sometimes Firefox remembers the window, but in sometimes, not (I updating the system every day).

I will also try it with RC1 as soon as possible.

Now, I can confirm this bug with Kubuntu 9.04, KDE 4.2.2, and Mozilla Firefox 3.0.9.
In Ubuntu 9.04, with GNOME 2.26.1 and the same Firefox version, no problem.

Please look for this bug upstream. as i recall ther eis another in LP like this and at least one upstream.
