konsole in KDE 4.2 (Intrepid) does not save the encoding

Bug Description

I'm using Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4.2 updates for intrepid from kubuntu-
experimental.

In KDE 3.x the encoding was stored across restarts by the session manager.

In KDE 4.2 the encoding (after logging in) is always the default encoding, i have to change each konsole window to the encoding i need for the specific terminal.

This bug is still present in Ubuntu 9.04 Beta.

Ok, since this bug is being tracked upstream I'll close the Launchpad one, since it's not a packaging bug.
