Bug Description

When I try to upload a picture from my Digital Camera (FujiFilm J12) I get two options (usb or usb:001.006) to upload from and when I click either one I get the error: "Could not lock the device" while connecting to camera. I am using Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 5.

Thanks for the report, I'm having a similar behavior here, what I've tried and works fine is: When you plug your camera a dialog is presented to you asking what to do in that dialog there's a unmount button, click on it, then start f-spot->Photo->Import and select the same device again? does that works? you can also unmount the camera by right clicking on the desktop icon, it could be related to the gvfs automount. thanks.

Yes that does work. Another thing that works is if I choose select folder I can access my pictures that way.

Ok thanks it seems gvfs autoimport is causing the issue again, reassigning. thanks for the confirmation

could you run gvfs-mount -li and add the resulting output to the report? It seems to be a side effect of bug 326029
