Bug Description

I tried installing the nvidia-180 driver through Jockey.

It paused at 0% for almost 5 minutes, skipped up to 67%+ (didn't catch the last number) and then crashed with this error:

--------

Sorry, the Jockey backend crashed. Please file a bug at:

  https://launchpad.net/jockey/+filebug

Trying to recover by restarting backend.

--------

Please let me know anything else I can do to test this bug!

Please attach /var/log/jockey.log. Could be a duplicate of bug 338340.

I was recently able to install the nVidia-180 driver and there no longer seems to be a log at /var/log/jockey.log. My apologies.

How do I properly close this bug? Marking as invalid...

I had the same thing happen to me, and I saved the log file.

Well, I just clicked activate again, and jockey said that it is removing the driver, and it went through 2 progress bars. Then I clicked activate again and the driver supposedly installed. I won't know until I restart if it actually worked, though.
