Give GTG an Inbox

Bug Description

This is something that Things [1] has, and it seems like a great idea, especially if you were to combine it with a quick entry mechanism. It would be an improvement over 'Tasks without tags'. 'Inbox' communicates a sense of work flow which you don't find with 'Tasks without tags'.

The "work flow" aspect of GTG is voluntarily vague: the aim is to
allow a user to implement its own work flow which, by experience, is
personal to everyone.

However it is true that GTG currently lacks some basic elements
allowing to build a complete flow, mainly in a GTD-like fashion with
inbox, places, etc.

The first development cycle was mainly a proof-of-concept and
technology-enabling work, and I guess during the upcoming cycle we
will focus more on those work flow & usability aspect (along with
other technology stuff, like synchronization, etc.)

So I actually cannot decide right now about the validity of this
specific bug since the global view & policy for GTG is still unclear,
but we are *very* interested in work flow-related bug reports &
opinions since it will help us to have a constructive and rich
discussion about those aspects in the upcoming weeks.

If you wanna discuss this more thoroughly, I invite you to join the
gtg mailing-list.

I really like the "Inbox" concept but I don't see how it could fit in GTG. Any idea or propositions are welcome !

Maybe we could re-arrange the sidebar a little bit. We already have
"All tasks", "Task with no tags". Why not having also "Inbox"? Maybe
the sidebar should evolve in a kind of browsing sidebar. I've got no
precise thoughts about that, however.

I mark this bug as "incomplete" as there is no tangible proposition nor explicit usecase.

If you have an idea to add the INBOX concpept to GTG, feel free to reopen this bug and to explain your idea.

(adding automatically an 6inbox tag to new task ?)

IMHO, the fact to add a task and to not associate it to a tag or more is exactly what putting things in inbox is !
That's why I use the "Tasks with no tags" view filter as an INBOX view.
