Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
I tried to create USB boot media with the usb-creator shipped with the Jaunty (beta) daily-live ISO builds (booting from the ISO burned to CD). Whenever it is supposed to create the persistence file "casper-rw" it crashes.
As a result, the file is not on the stick, but the USB media boots without a problem.
This happened with usb-creators 0.1.11 and 0.1.12 from the last few weeks.
It does not matter how large a persistence file I selected with the slider.
If I do the same thing with version 0.1.8, running from Intrepid (released) live ISO build, the persistence file creation works flawlessly (even if slow).
