geda-gschem version 1:1.4.3-1 is currently in Debian unstable. This update request should be converted to a sync request. Please resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors once you do that. Thanks in advance.

Could you please submit your patch upstream to Debian? It appears that they have the same build issue: http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=geda-gschem;ver=1%3A1.4.3-1;arch=i386;stamp=1234310137. Hopefully, they apply your patch and we can sync the package. Please add a bug watch to this Launchpad bug so we can track the progress.

@nathan,

we can sync the package now as debian has added build dependency on intltool which fixes FTBFS

This package will not build until LP Bug #32264 is resolved. This is due to the libgeda-dev (>= 1:1.4.3) not being satisfiable right now. I will monitor both of these bugs, and I will ACK this report once the newer version of libgeda is uploaded.

That should be Bug #322648, not Bug #32264.

Bug #322648 has been ACK'd. As long as that sync is performed prior to this one, everything should be fine. So I am ACK'ing this sync request to make sure it is in the queue prior to Feature Freeze.
