Installation just stops when installing xorg..no error

Bug Description

Ubuntu Installation (amd64) stopped on xorg package
I'm having an nvidia 6800 (asus) vga card.
Tried twice the installation with the same result.
Previous Beta worked fine.

Can you switch to tty1 (do ctrl+alt+F3) during installation to check the problem specifically? What Ubuntu installer you are using? Also check if the physical condition of the CD media. You can also try the newer milestone releases for Ubuntu 6.06.

 I just did a fresh installation of Alpha 6 and everything worked fine
(except the installation of my network card that i did mannualy).
