Bug Description

Binary package hint: dragonplayer

I configured my laptop to suspend to ram when idle for more than 20 minutes. When I play a movie or other long media with dragon player I have to either change the power profile beforehand or touch the pad to prevent the computer from suspending. The expected behavior is that i wouldn't have to do anything to prevent the suspend trigger while dragon is playing. I am using KDE4.2 RC1 with an updated kubuntu jaunty.

This is implemented in trunk. Not in time for the 4.2.0 release though. I hope to backport for 4.2.1

The fix has been backported to the KDE 4.2 branch for release in KDE 4.2.1. Thanks a lot. :-)

Will Jaunty have 4.2.1 or will the fix only be available in the mainstream releases in October?

Jaunty will most likely ship with KDE 4.2.2. KDE 4.2.1 should be released to Jaunty later this week.

I've never seen this bug fixed, neither in Jaunty, Karmic or Karmic+KDE4.4.
Is there any option that has to be set up ?

I'm using the proprietary catalyst drivers (mobility radeon 4760)
