We currently have cmus version 2.2.0-1.1ubuntu1 in the repositories. Here are the changes that this merge would introduce:

 cmus (2.2.0-3) unstable; urgency=low

   * Acknowledging NMU. Closes: #509277.

cmus (2.2.0-2) unstable; urgency=low

   * New maintainer. Closes: #484734
   * Changed debian/control
     - Standard-Version to 3.8.0 ( was 3.7.2 no changes needed )

As you can see, there aren't any real changes. As a result, I do not feel there is any real benefit that we would get by performing this merge. Therefore, I am setting the status of this bug report to "Won't Fix". We can merge it again at a later point in time once they introduce some new changes.

As a side note, when requesting a merge, please include the relevant Debian changelog entries in the bug description. You should also attach an Ubuntu->Ubuntu debdiff and add a comment that includes your merge changelog entry. These things will make the merge request much easier to process. Keep up the good work.
