Spell check identifies "Ubuntu" as misspelled

Bug Description

The word "Ubuntu" is identified as misspelled by most applications on Ubuntu.

I am running Intrepid x86. I have reproduced this bug with the following applications:

Firefox
Gedit (Spell check must be run manually)
Pidgin
Tomboy

The bug is not reproducible with OpenOffice.org 2.4.

I would expect that a spell check dictionary would not report the name of its distributor as a misspelled word.

I can confirm this in firefox and gedit, I do not use pidgin or tomboy though. I am using an up to date Ubuntu 8.10 install, Firefox 3.0.4, and gedit 2.24.2

Added the Aspell package, as this is what gedit uses for spell checking through libenchant1c2a
