Bug Description

Binary package hint: plasmoid-weather

plasmoid-weather displays the "feels like" temperature and not the actual temperature. In my opinion, a weather application should display the actual temperature in the absence of a choice.

The problem is reported here:

I have attached a patch, which I obtained here:

I have not tested the patch.

I am running kubuntu intreped 8.10 with plasmoid-weather 0.4-0ubuntu2

Um, apart from feel temperature, seem it display wrong temperature for some citys.

At this time, the gadget show it's 18F or -8C in Shanghai, but the data on Yahoo is feel like 30F or -1C...

I wouldn't be happy applying that whole patch for this bug, the patch does a lot more than make the plasmoid show the real temperature, so I've picked out the changes that apply to getting the temperature.

I applied your patch and temperature now displays the actual temperature and not the temperature with windchill added. Thanks for your work.
