Bug Description

Binary package hint: language-pack-gnome-hu-base

 It's killed my compiz and metacity ( mighty dbus???). I've runned dpkg --configure -a from console (it stopped with error) , after this i runned aptitude clean, and now the problem temporary solved for me... :(

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

The relevant error was
Checking for Xgl: not present.
/usr/bin/compiz.real (video) - Warn: No 8 bit GLX pixmap format, disabling YV12 image format
^CSegmentation fault

Affecting to compiz.

You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you?

Actually it looks like everything GL related was segfaulting, you can see that glxinfo segfaults too in the script that checks for texture from pixmap.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
