Moving files in Intrepid with Dolphin ALWAYS deletes source files no matter the outcome

Bug Description
Kubuntu 8.10 freshly installed. I did a file move with Dolphin. The move FAILED (no write permissions)! BUT the source files were deleted as if the move succeeded! Data loss!
I used 2 Dolphin windows and drag + drop to achieve this!

Seems to be fixed in KDE 4.2.
