Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.
1. Are you using the Keyboard with USB or PS2?
For a USB keyboard enter the following command on a terminal/console:
$ lsusb -v > ~/lsusb-v
2. Open a terminal/console and enter the following commands: signature > ~/version_signature gnome/periphera ls/keyboard/ kbd > ~/gconf
uname -a > ~/uname-a
cat /proc/version_
sudo lspci -vvnn > ~/lspci-vvnn
xprop -root | grep XKB > ~/xkb
gconftool-2 -R /desktop/
3. Attach ~/lsusb-v, ~/uname-a, ~/version_ signature, ~/lspci-vvnn, ~/xkb, and ~/gconf to the bug report as separate attachments.
