Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it without more information.

1. Are you using the Keyboard with USB or PS2?
For a USB keyboard enter the following command on a terminal/console:
$ lsusb -v > ~/lsusb-v

2. Open a terminal/console and enter the following commands:
uname -a > ~/uname-a
cat /proc/version_signature > ~/version_signature
sudo lspci -vvnn > ~/lspci-vvnn
xprop -root | grep XKB > ~/xkb
gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd > ~/gconf

3. Attach ~/lsusb-v, ~/uname-a, ~/version_signature, ~/lspci-vvnn, ~/xkb, and ~/gconf to the bug report as separate attachments.

the keyboard is connected on the ps/2.
I have to note that it was working perfectly before and also this problem affects several keys of the "right" side of the keyboard like del,enter...
Also the keyboard works perfect on the gnome desktop and although not fully tested the same problems exist on xfce..

p.s. a question, where is the old kde keyboard configuration in 4.1, like choose which keyboard you are using, configure meta-keys..? does it exist? will it come back?

This seems to be a KDE problem, also happening for me on Gentoo with a Logitech MX3000 setup.

I'm going to go see if it's in the KDE bug tracker.

is there a problem for marking this as a new bug? or being forwarded to kde team?

Since it is not working in XFCE either I doubt it is KDE specific. Does it work in 9.04 or 9.10?
Not affecting kubuntu-meta eitherway.
