Bug Description

xdigger (1.0.10-13ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Merge from Debian unstable (LP: #295553), remaining changes:
    - debian/patches/warn_unused_result.patch: Patch write() calls to take
      a result and open() calls to have third parameter with O_CREAT,
      fixing FTBFS.

xdigger (1.0.10-13) unstable; urgency=low

  * Add /var/games dir, used in postinst (Closes: #496340)
  * debian/control: Remove article from beginning of short description,
    remove author name from long description

Hi Iain,

Please forward the patch to Debian.

Additionally, while it is not any worse than the code before, it appears
the nbytes value is discarded, and the compile error is there to ensure
that the value is checked. It may be worth expanding the patch to do the
right thing.

Hmm, I thought I did but you're right. Will do. I should have spent more time on the patch, but to be honest it was just to shut the error up. Next time!
