Bug Description

Hi,

I upgraded from Dapper to latest Dapper from last night. Upon reboot, udev hang on "Detecting Hardware". Booting in single user it appear that udevplug is hanging.

After having timeout, there is no network, and X fails to start. After that the text console is completeled messed up displaying garbage and other things.

The machine is an old PIII 1GHz desktop.

If you need more debugging let me know

udev 079-0ubuntu3
