Firefox and Thunderbird does not work after installind KDE 8.10

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

After updating from KDE 8.04 to 8.10 Firefox and Thunderbird are not operational. Both programs are loaded in the memory and even after restart are there.

did you install Compiz effects? In my case I had installed the compiz-core and the plugins after upgrading to Intrepid. After enabling the effects, my Firefox would not load properly. I had to disable the compiz effects and uninstall the plugins before Firefox would work as normal.

No, I haven't made any changes after the upgrade -- all is set as per
the package.

If firefox and thunderbird are seeing this more than likely its the lack of a kde-support package. or a gtk issue, not so much firefox or thunderbird. Please look upstream mozilla to find a bug for this.
