Bug Description

Binary package hint: bootpc

Here is a patch to support cross-compilation of the executable by using custom "strip" like custom compiler. This is needed to build the debian package e.g. for ARM.
The program can be compiled for ARM with "make CC=arm-linux-gcc STRIP=arm-linux-strip" after this patch. Compilation will fail without this patch.

Hi,

Thanks for the patch. I have forwarded it to the Debian maintainer.
I will give him some time to respond before considering uploading it.

Thanks,

James

Hi,

The latest versions of the bootpc package no longer call strip
directly, so this won't cause an error to cross-compile, therefore
I am closing this bug.

Thanks,

James
