Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs-backends

Hello,
i just upgraded from hardy to intrepid, it worked smoothly except for that specific use case.
When i used fspot to import photos in hardy it was really smooth while now it is really slow (from 30s to 1h30).

I'm sure it comes from the transition from libgphoto to using gvfs for this kind of thing !
But i'm not sure of how to be more precise because debugging gvfs is kinda hard (dynamic module loading and dbus communication)

But anyway i had to report this bug !

Thanks for the help !

Well after all i'm not sure the problem comes from gvfs as browsing the camera with nautilus is as fast as it used to be previously.

So i guess there is a compatibility problem between fspot and the new gvfs backend.
