I was restarting Thunderbird after installing the Mnenhy extension.

can you still reproduce this? mheny is incompatible with enigmail fwiw.

After reporting this bug, I switched to a Thunderbird 3 alpha/beta release that I downloaded from mozilla.org directly.

So I tried to run the Ubuntu package again, and the result is that I *cannot* reproduce the bug anymore. (Mnenhy was installed and active.)

So I guess this bug can be closed, but I couldn't find a button to do it myself.
