MIne had nothing to do with Pidgin. I opened two tabs in Firefox and that was it.

so perhaps this bug has something to do with nspluginwrapper, all seem to be amd64?

Looks like an issue with new changes introduced in nspluginwrapper 1.1.0 to add support for windowless plugins (eg. Flash 10).

The X11 visual (ws_info->visual) seems to be getting mucked somewhere, making XVisualIDFromVisual unhappy.

same here !
 intrepid 64 - 2.6.27-3

But it seems perhaps also related to java (....?)
On a heavy flash site (www.corriere.it ) firefox hangs on waiting from js.corriere.it

best regards
