Please sync freetalk 3.1-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

Debian has satisfied build dependencies on amd-64 (It was a FTBFS in my
previously reported bug which was uploaded). So requesting a sync.

Changelog since current intrepid version 3.0-2:

freetalk (3.1-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Urgency set to medium, fixing FTBFS on ia64 due to dependency on guile-1.8
  * New upstream version
  * debian/patches:
    + Removed, merged with upstream
  * debian/rules:
    + Dropped dpatch support
  * debian/control:
    + Dropped dpatch support

freetalk (3.0-3) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Fixing RC bug, urgency set to medium
  * debian/control:
    + Does not depend on guile1.8 for ia64 arch, so that freetalk can
      migrate in Lenny and this will fix dependency of automake1.8 of
      version 0.69 (Closes: #496115)
    + Updated my maintainer email address

As this is a new upstream version, it needs now a FeatureFreeze exception.

It builds and installs correctly at least for amd64 now (thanks to upstream, Debian only fixed the dep problem for ia64, not amd64 as you say in your description).
The previous version you uploaded failed on all arches.
No open bugs in Debian, lot of bug fixes in this version, no major additions, no rdepends: motu-release ack from me.

PS. Note that I won't process any more FFe from you unless you can show me a build and install log, as required in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess.

oh, and yes, please provide build/install logs in the future. In this case, I assume that Cesare building/installing it to be sufficient testimony though.
