Bug Description

nginx on hardy is very old, ancient version and many many features are not there yet...

It compiles but does not install. This will need some source level backporting to fix. Dependency install error is:

 nginx depends on lsb-base (>= 3.2-14); however:
  Version of lsb-base on system is 3.2-4ubuntu1.

To insure a safe backporting path, this package must be backported to Intrepid as well.

Backports ACK: nginx 0.6.34-2ubuntu1 -> intrepid-backports

I'll upload a package to hardy-proposed as well.

Is there an ETA for the intrepid sourceful backport? The hardy backport has been in the archive now for 20+ days.

On a closer reading, intrepid doesn't need a sourceful backport, since it already has a new enough lsb-base. Michael said: "Backports ACK: nginx 0.6.34-2ubuntu1 -> intrepid-backports". I'll do the backport now.
