Bug Description

Linux jcollier-notebook 2.6.26-5-generic #1 SMP Fri Aug 15 13:54:22 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

VLC version:
VLC media player 0.8.6h Janus (wxWidgets interface)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.1 (Ubuntu 4.3.1-5ubuntu1)

Attached is valgrind log and "Backtrace" & "Memory Map" output from the crash

Instructions for replication of bug:
  1. Start VLC with no initial playlist
  2. "Settings" > "Extended GUI"
  3. Select the equalizer tab
  4. Move any of the equalizer adjustments

Hi, i failed to reproduce this on vlc 0.9.4-1ubuntu3 (the one in Intrepid). Is this still a problem for you with an updated vlc-player? Which Ubuntu version are you running?
