Bug Description

Binary package hint: buxon

The package description states:

This GUI only needs an URL to a RDF file storing SIOC forums information

Instead of using 'an url', 'a url' appears to be more grammatically correct.

buxon 0.0.4-1 is now in Intrepid. Can you attach a new patch against the latest release? Please, send it to Debian too.

Hi,

I don't think it's worth the time to upload this change, I think we might
as well wait for the fixed package from Debian.

If Debian uploads before RC freeze then please turn this in to a sync
request and I will happily sponsor.

If you disagree then please re-subscribe the sponsors and someone
else will take a look.

It seems that this has still not been fixed in the latest release of buxon (which is 0.0.4-1) It seems that maintainer in debian said that the next upload would fix this, but it's been over a year now and no new upload has appeared. I'll follow this up on debian.

I've now sent an email the the upstream mailing list to try and find out what's going on with the development of buxon.

There hasn't been an upload of buxon in debian for about two years now. I don't see what harm there would be in uploading this change to ubuntu for now.

Hi,

The problem of uploading a package that just fix that is that we will diverge from Debian for a description discrepancy and that the package won't be automatically synced then.
It's not worth the upload. Sorry.
