firewalling section of server guide is unclear on masquerading

Bug Description

on Both the released and draft versions of the server guide ( https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/serverguide/C/firewall.html and http://doc.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/serverguide/C/firewall.html ) I feel the section "ufw Masquerading" could do with some clarification.
The instruction is:
"Now we will add rules to the /etc/ufw/before.rules file. The default rules only configure the filter table, and to enable masquerading the nat table will need to be configured. Add the following to the top of the file just after the header comments:"
Which is correct, but when reading the instructions, they show a COMMIT line, which looks the same as the bottom of the file.
I think it would be worth adding a line similar to "After adding the *nat section, you will have two COMMIT lines in your /etc/ufw/before.rules" would be helpful in clarifying that the COMMIT message is required.
Thanks.

Thanks Karl for reporting this, I'll add something to the Intrepid docs. Probably something along the lines of needing a "COMMIT" statement at the end of each table. The current examples only show the filter and nat tables, but that could be expanded in the future.

Thanks again.

I've added a more detailed paragraph about the COMMIT statements in revision #74. Can your take a look and let me know if it is clear enough to close the bug?

You'll need to check out the dev docs by using bzr:

  bzr branch lp:ubuntu-doc

You can view the docs in yelp using:

  yelp file:///path/to/serverguide/C/serverguide.xml

Thanks,
Adam

Thanks mate (sorry about delay in replying).
The new wording is much clearer, the only bit i had to re-read was this:

First, packet forwarding needs to be enabled in ufw. Two configuration files will need to be adjusted, in
/etc/default/ufw change the DEFAULT_FORWARD_POLICY to “ACCEPT”:

After i realised it carried on to the next point it made more sense.
